DIVING

West Cork lies in the path of the Gulf Stream and its unpolluted waters and numerous ship wrecks provide for excellent diving.

There are many offshore islands and scenic reefs to be explored and you will also find among the wrecks that of a German WW2 U-Boat (40m).

For the more experienced diver there is the wreck of the 300m Kowloon Bridge (10m) a super bulk carrier that ran aground in a gale in 1986.
